The King's Swimmers

The King's Swimmers is the most experienced swim training group for open water swimmers in the United Kingdom. Its coaches have nearly 50 English Channel swim successes between them and hold qualifications to coach and escort open-water swimmers

The group's swimmers have achieved outstanding success both in the English Channel and other swims around the world. The first Catalina Channel 3-way was achieved by Steve Stievenart who has been trained by the King's Swimmers.

Their swim training camps on the Spanish island of Menorca (in April) and in Dover (June and October) have become a must-do for many swimmers. They also pilot swimmers the length of Loch Ness and have many accolades from swimmers who have achieved this 'monster' swim.

On a daily basis throughout the year, Kevin, Kathy, and other coaches are in Dover with individual swimmers seven-days a week but they never forget that they were new to it once.
